ready, full and complete

Dear brothers and sisters, is your life full of difficulties and temptations?
Then be happy, for when the way is rough, your patience has a chance to grow. So let it grow, and don't squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete.

James 1: 2-4 ( the living bible)

  1. Dear Joanna.. :)

Have you ever had situations in life when you had difficulties and temptations and you just wanted to squirm out of the problem? Had there been a time when you felt temptations but you were not patient enough, so you fell into the temptation?

Maybe you have not experienced those things? Maybe you are naturally a person who is strong in character, full, and complete? :)

I used to believe that any person who is strong in character, full, and complete did not start that way. I always believed such a person was once weak in character, empty, and lacking. And that through experiences in life, the person learned to be strong, full, and complete.

But you're someone who seem to be strong, full, and complete from the start. Am I wrong in assuming it? Maybe it's your parents, your family who caused you to be like that right from the start :)

    1. Of course I have had bad times in life, I think everyone has and if they appear strong and complete that is probably because they have been through a lot of hard stuff to make them so! Though sometimes people are very good at pretending to be okay.
But we never stop learning and I don't think we shall ever reach true and perfect completion until we are in glory!

  2. I agree that we can only be perfect when we come to be with God at last :)

Yes, there are people who are so good in showing that they are okay. Maybe because they think that they would only show their real feelings and emotions to people who mean a lot to them. But for anyone else, they'd rather not show their true feelings, it may be because they feel that other people who are not too important to them are not worth confiding feelings to.

I'd love to know your story... some time... :)
